Card types

Before creating a loyalty program you need to create Card types and assign promotions to them. You can assign more than one promotion to one loyalty card. You can assign one promotion to more than one loyalty card.

There are two types of spaces in YCLIENTS: locations and chains. Locations have their menu on the left on navy background, chains have their menu on the left on purple background.

Locations and chains have different sections. There’s no Loyalty section in locations, you can find it in chains only.

To open the chain you need to do the following:

  1. Click the name of the location in the top left corner.
  2. In the drop-down list select the desired chain.

Creating a card type

In the chain interface go to Loyalty - Card types section and click the Add a card type button.

1. In the new page that opened indicate the Name of the card type, i.e. Loyal customer card.

2. Select the Location that this card will be valid for.

3. Select according to what rule Automatic issue will apply:

  • Issue at any location - if the card should be issued to new clients in all locations.
  • Issue in connected locations - if the card should be issued to new clients in specific locations.
  • Don’t give to new clients - if you prefer to issue cards to clients manually.

4. Indicate whether unused points must expire and when.

5. Indicate limitations for application of points (what they will be valid for):

  • services only;
  • products only;
  • some services and any products (when selecting this type you will see Add button using which you can change categories/services);
  • some services without products (when selecting this type Add button will appear using which you can select categories/services).

6. Indicate limitation of payment by bonuses (fixed amount or % of check amount). For instance, if the service costs 1000 Russian rubles and the client has 1000 bonuses and you don’t want your employee to work for free you can limit payment with points.

7. Click the Save button.

Editing and configuring notifications

After you create them you can edit or delete all card types in the Loyalty - Card types section. Also, after creation the Notifications section becomes available where you can configure templates for notifications about card transactions.

Values of variables

  • %CARD_TITLE% – card name
  • %CARD_NUMBER% – card number
  • %GROUP_TITLE% – name of the chain where the card is located
  • %BONUS% – amount of bonuses
  • %CARD_BALANCE% – total balance.
