Discount for online booking: automatic application of promotion

What is it and what is it for?

YCLIENTS allows you to automatically give clients discounts by automatic application of promotions. You can configure discounts for online bookings as well as visits in the appointment calendar. You can give discounts for appointments created using client mobile app only.

By selecting discount for appointments made using mobile app you’re increasing loyalty of your clients. They will be seeing your company’s logo on their phone screen and will be able to make their appointment with you in a couple of taps. Using the app you’ll be able to communicate with clients using push notifications and remind them about yourself: ask them to make an appointment with you even if they weren’t planning on it.

You will also be attracting paid traffic to the website where your YCLIENTS online booking widget is installed. To increase the conversion of the widget give website clients a discount for online booking.

Configuring automatic application

There are two types of spaces in YCLIENTS: locations and chains. Locations have their menu on the left on navy background, chains have their menu on the left on purple background.

Locations and chains have different sections. There’s no Loyalty section in locations, you can find it in chains only.

To open the chain you need to do the following:

  1. Click the name of the location in the top left corner.
  2. In the drop-down list select the desired chain.

In the chain interface go to the Loyalty - Auto-apply of promotion section. 

Discount for online booking

1. Select a promotion that will be used to give a discount. To do that, create a fixed discount promotion beforehand (detailed manual on how to create promotions is given in this article).

2. Indicate when to apply the discount: to each booking or first booking only.

3. Indicate to which online booking this discount should apply: any online booking or booking from the mobile app only.

Discount for booking through the Calendar

1. Select a promotion for a discount. To do that, create a fixed discount promotion beforehand (detailed manual on how to create promotions is given in this article).

2. Indicate when to apply the discount: to each booking or first booking only.

After these settings check the box next to the Use automatic application programs field and click the Save button.

If your client makes their appointment when discount for online booking is applicable then the preliminary discount will be made during payment. It will appear in the Checkout section.
